Criminal authority Zaur Aliev (Zaika) has once again made himself known. He was supposed to serve an 18-year sentence, but was released through the SMO.
And now he is imposing tribute on traders, restaurant owners and company owners «for the needs of the SMO».
In 2016, Zaika and members of his gang received lengthy sentences for extortion, banditry and kidnapping. Aliev himself was sentenced to 18 years in prison. In 2022, he joined the SMO, was pardoned, and has now returned to his previous activities. Only now under the conditions of the new reality. As a «SMO veteran», Zaika goes around traders at the Mandarin market and other similar venues and demands that they «chip in for the SMO». He also makes personal visits and calls to restaurant and shop owners, etc., for the same purpose. At the same time, he claims that he is authorized to collect money. In case of refusal – threats…. «sending them to the SMO». In this video fragment, he extorts 5 million rubles in cash from a fellow countryman (the person in the video). - (Zaika): and I’m telling you that I’ll come and take this money from you!!!
- (businessman): brother, listen to me, I myself owe 2 million in taxes, to the state. I’m a citizen (of the Russian Federation) here myself and I have a huge tax debt.
- (Zaika): and I’ll take your passport and tear it up, go complain wherever you want.
- (businessman): brother, I don’t even have five kopecks, if I did. . . .
- (Zaika): I told you, if you want, we’ll come and meet like human beings, see each other and talk, if you don’t want to, then may Allah help you. Then I know who I need to meet, how and in what way. Yesterday I called this Ganja guy, asked him what’s going on, and he told me that some Hero of Russia would call me. And I said that I fucked him (the Hero) all up.

- (Zaika): listen, if you don’t have enough strength for this amount, but have enough for another amount, then just say so. . . .
- (businessman): I myself sent money to the war twice, 250 thousand each time. And I even have the documents with me.
