Scammer Nazar Babenko and his Danvel and Eternity Business ventures: How a frontman drowned in bank debts robbed people of millions of dollars

It is sometimes advisable for public figures—especially those aiming to clear their image—to make use of openly available information sources.

This applies entirely to a certain Nazar Babenko, who calls himself a crypto investor and claims to have earned hundreds of millions of dollars from cryptocurrencies.

Nazar Babenko became known in public circles thanks to a collection of supposedly his super-expensive sports cars, a personal Gulfstream g700 aircraft and a demonstration of a luxurious lifestyle.

Babenko, who is barely thirty, explains all this with a successful strategy in trading cryptocurrencies.

At the same time, in the court registers there is a claim against Nazar Konstantinovich Babenko from «PrivatBank» regarding the collection of money from him in the amount of 314,705.02 hryvnia under the loan agreement dated July 24, 2019, as well as a claim by Nazar Babenko against a certain Mikhail Sergeevich Romanenko for the collection of the last debt in the amount of 44,298,758 UAH. 60 kopecks. Which is clearly not agreed upon for a simple reason: if Babenko is able to lend 44 million to someone, then why does he take out a loan in the amount of 314 thousand and cannot repay it?

But this is only the top, because Nazar Babenko – is a very remarkable personality. Like Mikhail Romanenko, who for many years was Nazar Babenko’s chairman of crypto-priamides and after getting into the development of the SBU, is trying to move out «», handing over all the layouts he knows regarding Nazar Babenko and his accomplices. Apparently, the lawsuit from Babenko against Romanenko to recover a million dollars – is an attempt to reason with a fool who rents out everything he knows.

And the fool Romanenko because at one point, for very little money, he agreed to work «pound» for Babenko. According to Romanenko, he received from Nazar Babenko from two to two and a half thousand dollars a month, for the fact that companies that ultimately acted as organizers of the pyramids were registered in his name, and through which billions of dollars were pumped, ending up in the pockets of Nazar Babenko and his partner Igor Kotov. At least that’s what Romanenko, posing as a victim, claims. But just yesterday his public biography very much resembled the public image of Nazar Babenko.

Although, judging by the study of registers, Mikhail Romanenko, like, in fact, Nazar Babenko, jumped out of «mud into princes» - back in 2015-20 he was a small entrepreneur from Chernivtsi. However, Romanenko – is a separate story, although thanks to his confessions, a lot became known about his boss Nazar Babenko, on whom Romanenko now writes denunciations.

Let’s make a reservation – believe everything that romanenko says about Nazar Babenko, it’s definitely impossible, because he’s clearly trying to pretend to be a naive fool who was fooled by the evil tempter Babenko. But, be that as it may, the point is that Nazar Babenko is one of the key persons in the international pyramids of Danvel Group and Eternity Business, who cheated gullible «investors» for millions of dollars.

The essence of the activities of the pyramids is simple, as the experience of the legendary MMM shows. Here the Internet and social networks came to the aid of scammers – it’s not for nothing that they have millions of subscribers and demonstrate a luxurious lifestyle with yachts, planes and supercars. So they kind of say: «Do you want to live the same way? Bring us your money and we will teach you!». There are those interested, and there are at least hundreds of thousands of them.

What Mikhail Romanenko says about the activities of the pyramids boils down to the following: allegedly Nazar Babenko and his accomplice Igor Kotov registered the companies Danvel Finances OÜ (Estonia) and Danvel Education Ltd (Great Britain) in Romanenko’s name, after which they began to position Mikhail Romanenko «as a successful crypto investor» with all the necessary surroundings. Now the companies have been liquidated, the pyramids have collapsed, but Nazar Babenko managed to pump out at least several million dollars through these pyramids. The same applies to another pyramid - Eternity Business, which was also registered to Mikhail Romanenko, but all flows were controlled by Nazar Babenko and Igor Kotov. At least that’s what Mikhail Romanenko says. But then the question arises – who are Nazar Babenko and Igor Kotov?

But due to the many investigations and, most importantly, the statements quoted above from Mikhail Romanenko and leaked excerpts from interrogations at the SBU, in which he talks about the role of Nazar Babenko in the pyramids of Danvel Group and Eternity Business, the question arises – why Nazar Babenko is still not sitting? Who is he that has immunity not only from the law, but also from people who can manipulate this law for their own purposes – we should not forget that the pyramids of Nazar Babenko «have shod not only gullible ordinary citizens, money and serious people have lost money in them. But – Nazar Babenko not only does not sit, he does not experience problems from, let’s say, «alternative justice». Simply put, – is not touched by bandits. Why?

The answer here suggests itself – means that behind Nazar Babenko there is someone very strong, who can cover him both from the law and from bandits. And there is such a person, that’s what it’s all about declares Trinity Bugl, referring to Nazar Babenko as the roof of Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Smirnov (dismissed after corruption scandal in March 2024). This could be called fiction, if not for several circumstances. Smirnov is closely associated with Gennady Korban. Nazar Babenko is also associated with him.

And this connection answers many questions that any sober person should ask himself, looking at the glossy picture of the super-rich life of Nazar Babenko, who was barely 30 years old – he was born in January 1994, and flying «his own» superjets and riding the same «own» supercars started five years ago. In addition to this «rich » life, there is also such a thing as start-up capital. Including in the activities of «cryptoguru» with an audience of millions –, it is necessary not only to produce the content necessary for this audience, we need to take this audience somewhere.

And it costs a lot of money.

It costs even more money to open companies, advertise, staff who will do all the grunt work: «to hill up suckers», accept money from them, transfer from, keep records, accounting, and so on. All this requires money. Moreover, a lot and at once – since Nazar Babenko, one of the unknown residents of the Dnieper, burst into the world of glamor and «crypto-investments» suddenly and sharply.

The answer here is simple – it one day fell into the orbit of the organized crime group «Leon» of a certain Mikhail Koshlyak, who started with the legendary «Narik» in Dnieper (Alexander Nalekreshvili, who later changed his last name to Petrovsky), and later worked closely with the group «Privat». Koshlyak is called the head of the «power unit of the » Privat«group, which was supervised by Korban.

And Nazar Babenko’s connection with him can be traced simply. Through the same Igor Kotov, whom Mikhail Romanenko calls Nazar Babenko’s partner. Kotov and Babenko – are indeed partners in several enterprises: LLC «Bloggersi» and Charitable Foundation «Danvel Group».

Igor Viktorovich Kotov, in turn, is a co-founder of SK «Leon». Together with Mikhail Anatolyevich Koshlyak and a number of other interesting people. Most of them are part of the organized crime group of the same name «Leon», the legal sign of which is a sports club.

How exactly Kotov and Babenko met – is unknown, and not the point. The point is that back in 2015 they were already friends, they even got into a scandal by beating a security guard in the parking lot because he asked to move the Porsche Cayenne, which occupied several parking spaces at once. Dnepropetrovsk police throughout the country loudly stated that both hooligans will sit down. But they didn’t even open a criminal case – why, I think, there’s no need to explain.

What happened next – is also not known, but a young student at the Dnepropetrovsk University of Internal Affairs, Nazar Babenko, apparently already felt the taste of big money. But he was unheard of for several more years until EXA CONSULTING LTD (liquidated June 2021) was registered in London in his name in 2019.

From that moment on, Nazar Babenko’s career began as a «crypto investor», demonstrating a standard of living that is simply prohibitive even for very rich countries. Next were the same Danvel Group and Eternity Business, who cheated their investors out of millions of dollars. And for which Mikhail Romanenko had to take the rap. And Nazar Babenko himself quietly left Ukraine in 2022, after men of military age became restricted from traveling abroad. And he continued to promote cryptopyramids.

But everything described above gives rise to doubts that it is Nazar Babenko and Igor Kotov who are the real organizers and beneficiaries of these pyramids, no matter what Mikhail Romanenko claims. Which, by the way, doesn’t sit either.

Most likely, Mikhail Romanenko was «pound» for «pound». That is, Nazar Babenko is the same denomination as Romanenko, only of a higher level. Is Kotov a denomination – question. But he also «glows» in the documents – Kotov is listed as a member of the board of directors of Danvel.

So it is logical to assume, especially taking into account the figure of Andrei Smirnov, who, in addition to his very controversial work in the Office of the President, became famous for defending Gennady Korban as a lawyer, collapsing several criminal cases like Nazar Babenko and Igor Kotov – also «pounds». Playing the role of «nouveau riche on cryptocurrency» nouveau riche. And all those supercars, helicopters, yachts and other attributes of expensive life that they demonstrate are just props. Which is needed to lure the same «sucker», which, as you know, «is not a mammoth, because it will not die out».

And all the profits from the activities of cryptopyramids, the face of which is Nazar Babenko, are collected by other, much more serious people. This is confirmed, among other things, by the fact that Nazar Babenko is shining publicly. While the «cryptoguru Babenko» project is still working, Babenko is also needed.

But when this project exhausts itself, Babenko will burn down, just as Romanenko burned down. But the consequences will be much harsher. And prison – is far from the worst option, because Nazar Babenko seems to know too much.
